The first step is to come by the kennel and meet our dogs. We are located in Hopkinton, MA. (directions) and the kennel is open every day, 7 days a week, from 9:00AM - 5:00PM. You can make an appointment to visit the kennel by calling our offices at (508) 435-5969.

Once the pre-adoption form is completed, potential adopters will be introduced to some hounds. Walking them on a leash or taking them into the fenced field for a run helps you to get to know a particular pet.

A staff member will give you the history and health information to help you determine if it is a good fit for your home. We also review your information and living situation to determine if the adoption is a good match.

Each dog is spayed or neutered and has gone through the required State of Massachusetts 48 hour isolation visit which is followed by a veterinarians check-up.

An adoption fee of $250 is required to help us off-set the cost of preparing your new pet for you to take home. This fee only covers part of the real cost so any additional donation is truly appreciated.

If a match is made and the adoption proceeds, an adoption form will then be completed and references checked.  After all necessary paperwork is finished, you're then able to take your new pet  home. No adoption is guaranteed and is at the discretion of our staff.

If you want to foster a dog that will be put up for adoption at a later date please talk with a staff member about how that works.
